The 2008 All Star Game was held in Yankee Stadium for it's last season. 

We had 2 players in the game that year, Dustin Pedroia, Hanley Ramirez. I took the opportunity to pay homage to the stadium with an oversized silhouette screenprinted on the quarter panel and worked in a silhouette of Babe Ruth on the heel.  

Both versions featured a chrome outsole and Hanley's pair was nubuck with a matching screenprint, giving it an almost iridescent effect. 

Fun Fact: I was prepared to omit the Babe from Pedroia's cleats given the Red Sox history, but after asking Dustin he was thrilled to take part in the tribute.
